In Kirkland, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Washington vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Kirkland is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Kirkland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I took my Subaru to this independent Subaru "specialist" shop hoping to avoid dealership fees. I had already pulled the code and handled the basic preliminary checks myself, including fresh oil and swapping out the basic sensors. When those steps did not clear the code, I suspected a deeper issue like the timing chain or camshaft sprockets and brought it in for professional diagnosis. After keeping my car all day and charging a $200 diagnostic fee, they admitted they could not pinpoint the exact problem. Instead of diagnosing the root cause, they tried to use a parts cannon approach by quoting over $12,000 to replace every conceivable component related to the code, including all four camshaft sprockets, the timing chain, tensioners, head gaskets, and valve covers. This quote exceeded the actual market value of the vehicle, making the recommendation completely absurd. I was forced to pay the diagnostic fee for zero actionable answers. Because they failed to figure out the actual issue, I couldn't call around and ask other shops for a quote on a specific repair. Instead, every other shop demanded its own separate diagnostic fee just to start from scratch, making it financially impo

Not thorough in their work. First offense: I brought it in for a loud humming sound, which I now know was a broken wheel bearing. They claimed it was rusty brakes, and said once they replaced the brakes and test drove it the sound was gone. I pick it up, and immediately notice the sound again. Had to return and get it fixed in an entirely new visit. Second offense: Brakes were squeaking, so I brought it in for a check. They said they test drove it and couldn't find a problem. Charged me $200 for an inspection and a month later my brakes are still squeaking and now grinding as well. edit: now that i have left a review, they decided to inform that they elected to not tell me about rust they found on my brakes during the inspection, and instead tell me everything was fine. Possibly to double dip on inspection pay and my future brake replacement, as the rusting got worse. Very strange choice on their part.

I am not usually one to write a review but I was a bit shocked by my experience here. I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic inspection to address a sound. They recommended about 5k worth of work. I understand recommending everything that could be done, but it took a lot of me asking questions to understand what needed to be done and what could wait. The main thing they recommended was a full brake job on the front brakes. I asked to see the pads or if they could tell me what the wear was because I had recently (within the last year) had them done. They refused to do so. I was put off by the lack of communication and overprescription of work on my 2010 vehicle that I just want to keep running well and safely. I paid for the diagnostic and went on my way. I took my car to another well reviewed shop and they told me my front brakes are wearing evenly and have TEN MM on the pads. They said theyβre βbasically brand newβ and did not recommend ANY brake work. I was stunned by this and feel a bit scammed by All Wheel Drive. I was shocked to have this experience at such a well reviewed shop. Communication seems to be the biggest issue with my experience.

Great experience overall! Took my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek here. There was a small miscommunication during the process, but the team handled it professionally and kindly. Their pricing is transparent, communication was clear, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I took my 22 Outback here for repair of my hatch latch and the service was 5 star all around. They diagnosed the problem, got the replacement actuator and installed it all within the same day so I could take the car home same day I dropped it in, for a not completely trivial repair. Curtis, my service rep, kept me posted and communicated well. He did check with Subaru if the part was in warranty on my behalf as well. The price for labor was reasonable too. Honestly I can't find a single fault with their service, will bring my Outback here again in the future if I have any problems with it.
